About our Fire Risk Assessment

Our report follows the guidance and approach recommended in the PAS 79 document, a public standard developed and published by the British Standards Institution (BSI). Under current fire safety legislation, all non-domestic properties, including public and commercial premises, must have a fire risk assessment. This includes schools, warehouses, factories, licensed premises, nursing homes, care homes, offices, retail outlets, businesses that provide sleeping accommodation, sheltered housing, and the communal areas of blocks of flats and houses in multiple occupations (HMOs).
If you are responsible for a non-domestic property, you must identify and assess the fire hazards present and make arrangements to reduce or eliminate those risks. A written fire risk assessment is required if you employ five or more people.
